Who runs this site
hotelonemap is published by SSPS LLC, Ontario, Canada / USA. Editors can be reached at contact@hotelonemap.com.
SSPS LLC also operates other online entertainment products. Those products are not listed here, are not linked from here and play no part in the selection. None of the ten listed games belongs to the publisher.
Intended readers
This site is intended for adult readers in the United States aged 18 or older, or 21 and older where their state's law sets that age. Minors are not our audience, and we ask them to close the page.
How the site makes money
We are paid through affiliate commissions. Some links to the App Store, Google Play or a publisher's site can carry tracking, and an install or purchase that follows may lead to a commission for us. Your price does not change. For every detail, see the Affiliate Disclosure.
Selection method and criteria
The ten picks are an editorial selection. Before a game is listed we look at its App Store and Google Play pages, the publisher's own terms and public reporting about the company. A title has to meet every rule below:
- free to download and play, with virtual currency only;
- no cash-out, no prizes, no redemption and no sweepstakes model;
- no real-money casino or sportsbook sold under the same brand, and no land-based slot cabinet brand;
- no title that leans on prize-pool language, and no children's film license;
- available in the US App Store and on Google Play, with both store addresses answering at our last check;
- an App Store age rating aimed at adults.
Among the titles that pass, we order them by the depth of their social features, the variety of content, how clearly the listing explains virtual currency and purchases, and how long the game has been running. We never print a store rating number, because those numbers change daily; each card sends you to the store instead.
What we leave out
We do not describe any game as a path to money, we do not invent player counts or prices, and we do not use publisher logos or screenshots. The monogram tiles on each card are our own design.
Corrections policy
Spot an error or a stale detail? Email contact@hotelonemap.com and include the page address plus the detail in question. An editor checks it against the store listing or the publisher's own pages, corrects the text where needed and moves the "Last updated" date. Publishers can report errors too, but placement cannot be bought.
